Product introduction
The first band that comes to mind when you hear gypsy music is definitely this fanfare ciocalia. Up until now, they have performed many performances around the world and released 10 albums to the world. Also, the fact that they have many fans in Japan is evident from the success they have performed in Japan many times until now. They will be celebrating their 25th anniversary next year, and what they announced to commemorate that is this album, which is their 11th album in total.
Fanfare Ciocalia was formed in 1997 in the village of Zeche Plagini near the Moldovan border in northeastern Romania. Twelve musicians in charge of brass and percussion instruments such as trumpets, saxophones, tuba, and horns sold playing high-pressure brass ensembles interlaced with dissonance at a high speed tempo, and they quickly became popular all over the world. In Japan, Alterpop released their first work “Radio Pashcani” in 1998, so it attracted a lot of attention from the time of their debut, and even after that, “Baro Biao” (2000), “Iag Bali” (2001), “Gili Garabdi” (2005), “Queen's & Kings: Let's Go Wild” (2007), “Gypsy Brass Battle” (2011), “The Devil's Tale” (Adrian Russo) Co-named with (2014), “Go to Mars!” Works such as (2016) have been released by various Japanese labels, but in addition to that, there are also live editions and best editions that have not been released in Japan. Meanwhile, films such as “Fire Gypsy Brass: From the Village Not on the Map” (2004) and “Gypsy Caravan” (2008), which they appeared in, were also screened in Japan. Furthermore, they have visited Japan 6 times, performed in “Fuji Rock” in 2014, and have attracted attention from various quarters.
Fanfare Zocalia's concert revenue has drastically decreased due to the novel , and it has become difficult to come up with production costs for a new album due to the recent novel , but crowdfunding has collected production costs from fans around the world, and we were able to launch this work, which is the 25th anniversary edition. At the beginning, SSW Bill Withers from the US, who passed away last year, participated as a guest singer in Glover Washington Jr.'s work and started with a big hit 'Just the Two of Us' (Japanese title: “Crystal Lovers”) cover. A total of 15 exhilarating/light/exhilarating numbers, including songs provided by musicians such as Kobi Israel Light and Adrian Lasso, who have collaborated since then and until now, have been recorded. Although it is the first new product in 5 years, it makes me fully enjoy the same tight and powerful gypsy brass sound as before, or even more.
The pinnacle band in brass music that anyone can enjoy without logic. This album marks the end of 2021!
