●The surface features a Japan map pattern that condenses beautiful Japanese scenery such as Mt. Fuji, a five-storied pagoda, cherry blossoms, pine trees, and torii gates.
This is a reproduction of a vintage item from the early 1950s, and features luxurious specifications with few plain areas and the entire back covered with embroidery.
This is an excellent piece with a black body and a white base of Japanese maps and colorful thread motifs that stand out, as well as green ribbing and red and white rope piping as accents.
The reversible side has a magnificent design with golden dragons dancing on the blue body reminiscent of sunny skies.
It is characterized by exquisitely balanced embroidery that makes good use of the blank space in contrast to the surface.
The dragon and tiger on the chest has the same design as the one on the front, but if you look closely you can see that the use of colored threads is different.
This is because vintage items were made using the same ``embroidery pattern'' on both sides, and it shows the commitment of the embroidery craftsmen at the time to change the color tone to match the color of the fabric, even if the design was the same.
