All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare® 2 (2009) have been modernized with new modes and gameplay elements and will be available to everyone at launch. Post-launch live seasons will also add more than a dozen brand-new 6v6 core maps, further increasing the intensity of the battles.

Modern Warfare III also introduces new Ground War maps at launch, featuring innovative play spaces, and marks the triumphant return of the beloved War mode, which first debuted in 2017's Call of Duty®: WWII.
