The driver unit, developed in-house using proprietary technology accumulated over many years, optimally blends biocellulose fiber and other fibers in the diaphragm, achieving low specific gravity, high Young's modulus, and high internal loss. The repulsive magnetic circuit uses a neodymium magnet, resulting in a low distortion factor of 1.5 Tesla. The ultra-powerful magnetic circuit and excellent free edge linearity deliver excellent response across the entire frequency range and a wide dynamic range. This not only delivers beautiful, delicate, high-resolution mid- and high-frequency sounds, but also faithfully reproduces the wide-amplitude low-midrange sounds. The housing, carved from solid black walnut, a premium wood, features an original design with an open aperture featuring two aluminum etching parts whose appearance changes depending on the amount of light and angle. The aperture ratio and meticulous fine-tuning of each internal part, combined with the resonance of solid black walnut, reproduces a natural sound field that is comfortable to listen to and reduces fatigue. The included cable is an original TH808 high-purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) unbalanced cable that minimizes impurities and enhances transmission capabilities. The detachable connector terminals and the detachable contact terminals on the headphones themselves are rhodium-plated for high hardness and excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Balanced connections are also supported with the separately sold XLR terminal cable (ET-H3.0N7BL). *The housing is made of solid natural wood. Therefore, the grain, texture, color, and knots will vary from product to product, but this does not affect the sound quality at all. Please enjoy the unique character and flavor of natural wood. The ear pads are the same as those on the TH909, and feature a memory foam cushion and carefully selected high-quality synthetic leather that provides a comfortable feel and fit even for extended periods of use, providing a snug fit behind the ears and reducing sound leakage.
