1)This is an aftermarket tailgate handle backup camera. Before purchasing please check the back of your Monitor/Screen that have a Yellow RCA input for easy installation.
2) For the power supply, you can connect it to any 12V power source. If you wanted the camera to always be on, you can connect it to a 12V source that is on all the time. We suggest that if you only want to use it when you reverse, you can connect it to reverse taillights.
